On Tuesday night, royals and celebrities turned out for the annual Serpentine Summer Party at the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, to raise funds for the Serpentine’s globally acclaimed exhibitions, architecture, education and live programmes, which are free and open to everyone.
Summer Party 2019 launched a summer of pioneering artists with the inauguration of Junya Ishigami’s free-floating Pavilion and honouring Faith Ringgold and Luchita Hurtado with their first exhibitions in Europe.
The Revolving Stage Company supplied a 4.5m diameter revolving stage on which a red cube stage was built for the performing artistes; Years & Years, DJ Fat Tony and Mura Masa.
The revolving stage was operated using the RevolveSolve software package by operator Craig Woodfield.
